For the Spring-Summer, the Mulleavy sisters presented a rich collection with unexpected references. Indeed, they originally fell for the mythical Disney cartoon “Sleeping beauty’s” greens and purples. They later derived towards Vincent Van Gogh's “Starry Night”, “Irises “and “Sunflowers”, introducing a cobalt blue, pistachio green, rust and yellow, in a mix of satin, chiffon, silk, tulle and leather. The silhouette combined modernism and a very 1950's touch, with pleated bustier prom-like dresses, ankle-length cigarette trousers, fitted waist sweaters, and structured skirts.
