Acne Studios Fall-Winter 2013-2014 RTW Fashion Show

Mood/style:
Jonny Johansson, Creative Director of Acne, presents a complex project produced in collaboration with artist Katarina Jebb. As part of a long meticulous research into the archives of the Musée Galliera, Katarina has recorded a series of historic creations by taking pictures of details like hems, stitching, lining, padding and everything that is hidden but forms an essential part to the construction process.

Lengths:
a mix of lengths: from short to floor-length

Colors:
black, China blue, azure, yellow, ivory, red, burgundy, green

Materials:
leather, woollen felt, knit, jersey, viscose, metallic nappa leather, satin

Shapes:
generous volumes, slanted asymmetries, reversed proportions. A mix of contrasting materials. Oversized jackets and blazers, roomy tops with exposed stitching. Baggy trousers, dresses are fashioned by means of panelling, layering and draping. Train skirts layered on top of straight trousers

Accessories:
pointy shoes with thin heel and feathered sandals, wedged open-toe booties.
