Zero + Maria Cornejo Fall-Winter 2013-2014 RTW Fashion Show

Mood/style:
"Today we are bombarded with and engulfed in too much information. The time has come to slow down our pace and be able to enjoy the moment.” Maria Cornejo is living through a feeling of returning to the basics, a desire for essentialness and clarity.

This is what she expresses in her collection, where the fabrics are luxurious and the shapes are simplified; drapery is limited and volumes are balanced. Structure is important. Research and artistic experimentation have always been part of Maria’s vocabulary; but she communicates a certain sweetness in her shapes and a measure in design that indicate a calm and confident vision
