Carlos Miele Pre-Fall 2013 Ad Campaign

After stampeding a menagerie of animal prints down his Spring runway, Carlos Miele toned things down for pre-fall. His new lineup introduced subtler looks like a nude-colored spaghetti-strap column gown with allover radial beading that infused a soft Deco glint. It stood apart from other, more formal numbers featuring the Brazilian designer's trademark ruching and micro-pleats. A marbleized silk floor-scraper with a turquoise studded halter-neck, on the other hand, nicely balanced Miele's over-the-top tendencies with his newer, streamlined side.
