DKNY Fall-Winter 2013-2014 RTW Fashion Show

Mood/style:
Donna Karan channeled ‘90s style into a new venture by reissuing the greatest DKNY hits from that period with Opening Ceremony. The DKNY revival was heavy on leopard and super-scale prints, leggings, and elements of grunge/hip hop.

Bombers, big sweatshirts and roomy coats put shoulders in the spotlight. She even showed a double-breasted jacket. Patterns and textures were mixed: a zip-front jacket had leopard print in front and two-tone sleeves (leopard/shiny black techno fabric). Cropped denim and wool jackets were layered over long sweaters or a second jacket. Body-con dresses in techno fabrics showed sportswear influences with graphic color bands. Accessories included the iconic hip hop chain necklace with an initial pendant.
