Miu Miu Fall-Winter 2013-2014 RTW Fashion Show

Mood/style:
a certain frivolous and feminine French spirit, a nonchalant je-ne-sais-quoi, a chic version of the marinier stripes halfway between Pigalle and Deauville, Olivia and Popeye, bon-ton polka dots and sophisticated sportswear: the Miu Miu collection conjures all of this, a heterogeneous and intuitive mix that, blended and distilled through the ingenious creativity of Miuccia Prada, produces a layered collection that cites many sources but combines them all in an individual and elegant result.

Having been transformed in an urban setting thanks to the radical re-styling carried out by the OMA studio, the art deco halls of the Conseil Economique in Place de Iena provide the perfect scenery: the space is reduced in height through the use of metallic grids, an alienating move that makes it similar to an underground station inspired by Blade Runner
