The Fall/ Winter 2012/ 2013 collection by Balmain was more masculine than ever. There were just a few super-short dresses I liked so much and majority of clothes presented were too tough in design, especially the jackets which looked almost square in shape. However, there were plenty of pieces which looked cool in Balmain Fall/ Winter 2012/ 2013 collection. For example, the velvet skirts with high splits on the leg, skinny cropped trousers and clinging coats with huge pockets on both the upper and the lower part of those.   Embellishment with pearls and crystals which decorated many items in Balmain Fall/ Winter 2012/ 2013 collection looked beautiful on dresses (especially the strapless blue one with a golden belt) and coats, but it was too much on pants and trouser suits.
